The Elinchrom Rotalux Deep Octa 100cm Softbox reduces the spreading of light and offers sharper shadows compared to regular octagonal softboxes. The light character is focused, yet soft. An octa softbox is typically used as the main light in model photography. Due to the round shape of the softbox, the light is spread as evenly as possible, and in combination with the deflectors and diffusers, the softest light can be achieved. Because the softbox is round, it can also be used straight in front of a model; the reflection in the eyes is not unnatural when it is round.
