The Elinchrom Rotalux Octa 175 cm Softbox is particularly popular with beauty and fashion photographers, partly due to its round shape. This allows the light to spread as evenly as possible. Combined with the deflectors and diffusers, this creates the softest light. The easy-to-install Rotalux system is probably the most copied of all Softbox systems. However, it is easier to copy a design than the quality. What the Elinchrom softboxes still make unique are the sets of deflectors - gold, silver and translucent, with which you can adjust the softness/hardness and color. The softbox can be folded up as an umbrella, and thus is easy to transport and store in the included carrying bag.
