The metal parts are CNC-milled from aircraft aluminium for a perfect fit. The maximum working length of the extension arm is 610 mm. The 3/8-inch screw on the head plate holds professional tripod heads securely in place.
The HC-32 rxtension arm slides smoothly and easily, making it quick and easy to adjust. It even folds in the opposite direction, i.e. down towards the floor. In this case, the camera can be suspended underneath the tripod leg head - perfect for macro shots close to the ground. A stable, quick-release wing nut on the tripod head holds the centre column securely in the desired position. Another feature of this centre column: a hook at the bottom end is used to attach a counterweight (e.g. photo bag), which increases the stability of the tripod in special situations.
