With the Leofoto MP-150S Macroslider you have full control over the distance between your lens and subject, allowing you to frame perfectly and use the right focal length.

More control over macro photography

When shooting handheld, you never hold the camera perfectly still. Those few millimetres of movement that you create, can -especially in macro photography- quickly cause blur in the photo. That is why many macro-photographers choose to use a tripod. The MP-150S is a macro slide that is easy to mount on Leofoto tripods. Once your camera is mounted, you can slide it back and forth with pinpoint accuracy, locking it at the perfect distance from your subject. The MP-150S is made of sturdy aluminium that has an anodized finish. This slider is Arca Swiss compatible and features a ¼" threaded connection. The NP-50 quick release plate can be adjusted to three positions with the robust dial; fully locked for when you have reached the correct position and don't want your camera to move, fully open to allow the camera to move back and forth and half open to make final precise adjustments.

Thanks to its length of 50mm, the NP-50 locks perfectly into the "claws" of any Arca-Swiss quick release. It is milled from black anodized aircraft aluminium and hollowed out where possible to save weight. This makes this quick release plate very strong and durable but also lightweight.
