These Nikon 16x50 Action Binoculars have multiple layers of antireflective coating and traditional Porro-style prisms to provide clear, high contrast views. Porro prisms aren't just nostalgia—many optics users find they offer a better sense of "3D" depth perception than the slimmer and more common roof prisms. The light-gathering ability of the large 50mm objective lenses helps to ensure bright and clear views, even in challenging situations like at dawn or dusk, or when peering into dense underbrush.
