The SmallRig 4259 x Potato Jet Tribex Hydraulic Carbon Fibre Tripod Kit is designed for professional outdoor videography, with quick and easy operation. With the hydraulic X-Clutch technology, all legs can quickly unfold, adjust the angle and automatically lock in just one second, providing photographers with a seamless experience. The clutch can also be adjusted to 45° and 90° for different shooting scenarios. Both legs and the centre column are made of carbon fibre, ensuring a lightweight design with exceptional stability and high load-bearing capacity.

Compact travel companion

The working height ranges from 27cm to 168cm and the compact storage length is 79cm. The centre column features a quick-lock design for easy height adjustments, with a removable Allen key built into the opposite side of the hook for easy mounting/dismounting of camera equipment, and the option for low angle shooting at a minimum height of 27cm. The compact design allows the tripod to fit into any standard luggage. 

Fluid head

The kit includes a compact and lightweight hydraulic fluid head with an adjustable 4-stage counterweight system. When the centre of gravity height is set to 55mm, the 4-stage counterweight system effectively stabilizes cameras or other equipment (up to 6kg) while providing precise control over the camera angle. The fluid head enables seamless, stepless adjustments for tilt and pan dampening, accommodating filmmakers’ different shooting preferences. The fluid head features a new Touch-and-Go quick-release plate that requires no alignment and is more efficient than traditional slide-in plates. The plate is compatible with 501 quick-release plates and DJI RS-series quick-release plates, allowing for quick transitions between stabilizers and tripods during filming. 

Removable telescopic handle

The easy-to-use detachable telescopic handle allows for easy operation of the head when mounted on the left or right side, making it compatible with any grip. The fluid head also features three 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories such as magic arms, along with a built-in flathead screw for easy camera installation and removal. The tripod also includes quick-release rubber feet with integrated spikes, allowing it to seamlessly adapt to different terrain.
